      New From Florida

Hello my name is Aaron and I'm new to the forums. My daily driver/project is a 1985 pontiac parisienne brougham. Is like the white version of the caprice. A little history behind her. Been in the family since new and now mine. Just got a new paint job and vinyl top. Car has a 350 crate swap done back in 1998. Other than the motor swap and impala ss rims shes stock. I'm currently still trying to track down specific parts for her.

Welcome... always nice to see a fellow Floridian join. Seems these big mid-80's GMs are seeing a growth in popularity again... probably because they came with V8s and rear wheel drive. Anyway, looks like you're going for a sleeper look, which suits this style of car... walk softly and carry a big stick, right? What are you plans for the suspension? Do you have plans to get it out to auto-x, track day, drags?

Yeah I'm leaning towards the sleeper look. I'm from pensacola. Suspension wise I'm going to swap in the 8.5 10 bolt and swap gears. I saw some guy on here did spc adjustable control arms on his 1977 impala coupe. I need to talk to him about that. I also want to do fully adjustable rear upper and lower control arms and soild swaybars and swap for a better steering ratio steering box. Also lower it and throw some different rims on it. Performance wise the car has a 350 crate with nothing done to it. I'm a college student so everything i want has to wait. Most important i really want to do a frame off restoration on it. It the pictures it looks fine but bottom line is the car needs a new roof(pulled the vinyl and A pillars are rusted to far for patches).
