      Trans crossmember

So I'm in the hunt for a Xmember for my 69 Camaro with 700R4 and still want to run 3" exhaust. I checked BMR and they are currently in the redesigning phase for this product. Ricks camaros looks like they have one but doesn't look too strong. Any product ideas would help.

      Riderz,
I just went through this search a couple of weeks ago. There seems to be two or three main players for this item. One produces the round tube crossmember like you saw on Rick's. The other design that might be more to your liking is called a G-Force crossmember. You can look at them/buy them here:

Or you can also get it from Summit Racing. It won't be listed as a G-Force but it will come from them.

I have mine mounted to the stock subframe now and it seems like a very strong product. You will just have to drill out the stock subframe mounting holes a size larger for the new hardware. From the looks of the design I would say it will clear 3" exhaust too. Just call them at the transcenter and ask to be sure.

      Hope that helps,
      KUSI
