LS oil pan into Heidts Subframe

I purchased the Pro G subframe and I am putting a LS2 into a 68 vert. I did some searching on the site and noticed there are several companies that provide LS2 oil pans. Per Heidts, I need the 2005 vette pan. Southern Perfomance has a complete kit for $450 on ebay. Has anybody tried one of these. I know ATS, Chapman, Autokraft and others are out there.

I plan to use this as a canyon carver and some autocross. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have the Heidts sub as well, and I am in the process of dropping in an LS6...MANY HEADACHES.

First attempt: Edelbrock LS plates, Energy Suspension Short/Wide.
Verdict: Summit sent out the wrong LS plates, and sent out Tall/Narrow by mistake.
--nothing lined up, and the Tall/Narrow won't go over the mount points on the frame.
no forseeable problem with stock pan (2004 CTS-V)plenty of clearance so far as I can tell.

Second Attempt: Edelbrock LS plates (for 67-69 Camaro this time) and Energy Suspension Short Wide this time.
Verdict: Mount points don't line up correctly with, or without the inserts.
--still no obvious problems with fitment on pan

Third Attempt: Called Heidts and was told that all of their testing was done with an LS3 and Energy Suspension's LS adapter kit (Part found here)
I'll have an update as soon as I get the plates from Energy Suspension, but it had better line up!

Heidts told me that the pan required was from a Gen IV F body, not the vette.
