      Some new guy

Wanted to drop in and say hello. Long time reader, hence the 06 join date, but finally posted.

On most websites I use my real name, David Holmberg.

Right now I'm down to two Trans Am's, a 77 Sunset Orange Street/ Strip car. And an all original 99 WS6 Convertible with 35,000 miles, in NBM.

I've been playing with 2nd gen birds since 1976, and they are still my favorite.

Enough about me, back to viewing the incredible builds you have here.

I didn't mean to offend anyone with pictures of a "Drag" style car. I am in the process of changing it over to a Road car, hence me being here.

Nice looking car! You won't be offending anyone. Lots of us have, or have had, drag cars also. What were you running with it? Combo? That a dude scoop?

Hi Chris, this place has some amazing builds. I was bored with straight lines, I'm inspired over here.

Welcome to the club, nice looking TA!!! Looks like you have the horsepower part of the combo covered.

The car looks pretty stock still? So shouldn't be to hard to get
it to turn left and right again.

He does have the HP part covered, that much I know. What's the guess on HP these days Dave?

As for the builds here, I'm always in awe. I've done a little to my old bird to make it more conducive to corners and cones but nothing like some of these guys. You have to respect them and their dedication.

I'm changing a few things, but it will still be a pump gas combo, around 650HP give or take some. ;)

Yes the car is very stock, just wheels/tires and shocks and springs will make a big difference.
I'm looking at the 17" YO WS6 wheel for the sleeper look.

Now I'm kicking myself for not buying Trevor's converted T56 a few years ago.
