      Hi Everyone

Hi everyone. I've been a long time lurker on here but never made an account until now. In high school I had a '71 Pontiac Lemans Sport and found this site because the pro-touring concept started getting some attention commercially back then. I saw Mark Stielow's '69 Camaro, Thrasher, in a magazine and hung the centerfold poster on my wall because I thought it was an awesome style to model my own build after. Anyways after high school I went to college and had to sell the classic to buy a more practical vehicle (the Trans Am)...which I instatly modded to the point where it was a less practical vehicle then the Lemans. Once I sold that I bought a 2002 ZO6. With the car payment that I had I couldn't afford to mod the car at all and while it was a fantastic vehicle and a beastly performer, not being able to customize the car renders it useless in my eyes, so I decided to sell the car to buy something a little more vintage. I was always a Pontiac lover so I decided to look for another one and found a '71 Lemans Sport 350 4bbl floor shift and snatched it up. I've had it for almost a month now but I haven't had the time to upload any photos of it yet but there's the beginings of a sketch down below for an idea of my vision.

      Regards,
      Ryan

I'm at work but here's some pics of my previous rides (My first Lemans was pre-digital media for me lol)

      Nice TA!
Can't wait to see some pics of your LeMans....
I'm on the same route, I bought a '71 LeMans Sport T41 earlier this year.
Now I'm going for the Protouring mods too.
Good luck with it and keep us updated!

Thanks for the compliments guys. I know it's been a couple months since my last update but I ran into a couple problems with the car. The motor overheated and when I tore it down I couldn't believe that it was still running. Needless to say the motor needed to be rebuilt (for the second time, evidently) so I had it bored another .030 over, bringing it to .060 total. Everything is stock replacement on the rebuild except the cam and intake. The car is eventually getting an LSx swap so I didn't see spending extra money to beef up this motor to much. The cam is purely for the cool factor and to keep me going until the LS motor gets in there. Anyways here's some long overdue photos of the motor, freshly rebuilt and the car as it is now. These are the only pics I have on me (phone) so there not the best quality.
