      65 stang rear

      Im curious as to what rear my mustang has in it....it came with the 200 6 cyl what rear is backing that??

      Not sure unless you provide a photo or more information. Usually 6cyl cars had a 7.5" rear with 4 lug axles. But Ford did some strange stuff back in the 60's so it's difficult to tell by just your brief description.

      Agreed, probably a 7.5" but post up a picture.

      im going home tomorrow so I'll get the picture but I have been doing some more researching and I found that the 6cyl cars usually came with the 8in and the exceptionally rare case the K cars came with the 9in

      hah idk i went to clean it witch bleach white like an idiot and off came all the info...

      Have owned and worked on many 6 cyl Mustangs over the years. Every one of them had an 8" including my Mom's bought new '66

      ok havent gotten the pics yet but on the info plate on the inner fender it has the letters B-K at the bottom
