      Lizard skin termal coating ore secondskin ceramic coating

      Ok guys need some non biast toughts on this one im not sure witch one to buy. a custumor needs a termal barrier for 2 of his GT 3 race cars .
      races last from 2 hours upto 6 hours, stuf gets very hot.
      i see that lizard skin can be used in a thinner coat, im not sure about the weight diferense between the two also..
      please advice..

      Second Skin for sure. They have a new product that is self adhesive, light and appears to be awesome. I put some above the exhaust on my Camaro, but don't have it put back together yet to test.
      And Ant (the dude there) is a nice guy to boot!

      I'd say a two part approach would be best. A combination of the lightweight self-adhesive barrier that Secondskin has now, and some kind of ceramic loaded coating like the SS Firewall or Lizardskin stuff on the interior side of the hotspots or areas where the adhesive barrier can't be applied.
