      New member, Questions ?

      Hey im jared.
Im in the middle of a debate on weather or not to purchase a 1966 Lemans 326 2speed. It would be a daily driver/modified as I go. Im looking at upgrading the suspension as much as I can then I would like to put an Ls motor in it Ls2 or higher with a 6 speed. The car seems to be great but has a little rust by the back window. What worries me the most is that coming from a 05 gto this thing is going to be a boat.My question is if I do the upgrade suspension kits from like summit or something what is the car going to be like will its just feel better or can I really get it to handle great on the road ?

There are suspension kits that will make this car our handle your 05 GTO, Summit stuff is not the place to start.

Budget for a complete system with steering, steering box, spindles, front and rear sway bars, front and rear springs, Front and rear arms, front and rear shocks, suspension from $4K to $7K

Look at (in alphabetical order, not order or preference)

You can always find good deals on the web and on this site. Here is a fellow member selling some parts that can be used in the car.
