      convertible wheelhouse

i just bought a set of inner and outer wheelhouses for a 67 convertible and they have printed on them excluding convertilble. So my question is why wont they fit because they seem to be the same when matching them up? any ideas? If its light modifying ill do it or am i screwed and need to get diffrent ones? any and all help would be greatly appreciated.!.

I'm guessing the tops of the wheelhouses are indented or flattened to allow the top to fold. Mine are flattened at a slight angle toward the top front. Can't recall if the coupes are as well.

On mine the seems that are welded together are bent over so the top clears when folded down. That's all I know that is different.

Let us know what you find out.
