off topic help on repairing dented 7075 extruded section
Hi guy's, OK this one is a little strange to post on a forum like this but I have a feeling you'll have the answer
I have an expensive wheel rim off my ..... bicycle
!!!!!
.... and it's got a very shallow dent in the side wall that I need to pull out... somehow?
It's only shallow but makes a hell of a vibration when braking. See my attached mock model for an idea of the extrusion/dent involved. It's on the braking surface and the extrusion is about 1.5mm thick at this point.
It's not quite as extreme as this but you get the idea...
any ideas guy's?
