      That video is supposedly from a party they have at the end of the season - the teams try to generate as much sound and fireworks as possible. I think that was the Arrows team from a few years ago.

      The headers in F1 are made of thin Titanium and they do glow - you just don't normally see it because they're covered by bodywork.

      Also, this year's 3.5L V10s rev to 19K or so - but there's a rules change for next year, to go down to 2.4L V8s. Everybody said there would be a huge drop in horsepower (say down to 650hp from 950hp+). However, Cosworth and Honda are already testing motors and have them revving to over 22K rpm! Honda has already had them on the track in the BAR. Apparently the V8's don't have the inherent vibration problems that the V10's do, so it's easier to spin them faster. Expect 24K+ rpms in the next few years and power creeping up to the current levels.

      All this and naturally aspirated.
