Anyone use Undercoverinnovations.com lower closeout panel?

Wasn't sure where to put this, but I found this:

      http://www.undercoverinnovations.com/Camaro1Lower.htm

Was wondering if anyone had experience (Camaro or other model) to say if there really are benefits?

      • Did it improve/hurt cooling?
      • Did it improve/hurt aerodynamics (perhaps indicated by a better mph in quarter mile or better mpg)?
      • Did it help the car plant it's front end better or did it make it feel more floaty at highway speed?
      • How does it look after being installed for some time (seems like being aluminum it might get pretty beat up over time).

If anything it looks like it would keep the undercarriage more clean.

Any insite would be helpful. Thanks.

i had one on my '67 i built. it wasn't bad. can't really answer any of your questions other than it looked good when i sold the car and still looked pretty good when i saw the car a few years later.

i did need to add a few screws to it and modify the holes some.

Mine went on w/o issues.another buddy with a '69 Z/28 has one too,no issues that I'm aware of.
Certainly keeps the engine bay cleaner and you can see how when combined with the upper closeout, you're really shoving cool air directly into the radiator.

It makes jacking up the car from the front impossible but my car is so low combined with my deeper than stock c/f spoiler that's not an option for my anyhows.

I like the piece and would highly recommend it,it fits very well and is designed to tuck up and be pretty rigid.

I can't comment on most of the above but I have a few pictures and my experience installing it (not on the road yet).

Install was very straight forward, only really had to drill a couple holes in my front sub-frame. It fits nice and snug when mounted. Looking at it in place I can't see how it would not but help cooling as I should be more airflow over my entire engine (rather than have a bunch of airflow off the radiator fan hitting the ground instead of going over the engine). The Pan is really not visible from the front of the car unless you are looking under it. I would imagine it will get beat up over time if driven on the street.
