I got this in an email from a customer today about this new product and wanted to share it.

"I installed the locks in the door using your brackets, and I've got to say that was the easiest thing I have done on my car yet. I couldn't be happier with them."

Thanks again for all who have purchased our products.

Ordered mine today, and for a little extra $ Shannon hooked me up with the correct actuators (and a few other related things I needed).

Looking forward to getting this installed.

      Thanks!

A bodies!! You have to do the A bodies next!! Start with the 70-72 Chevelles! Mine are already shaved, just seed a slick way to mount the actuators!

I will have to get doors for both of these to make sure that everything will work and do revisions if need be.

I added this to my 'to do ' list as well. Hopefully by the time I get to it on my list, second gen brackets will be available?

Does this kit still retain the door lock knob or is it deleted?

With this kit you hook the supplied actuator rod to the opposite side of the latch. This leaves the door lock knob and factory rod untouched for this install. By using this install kit you can delete the door lock knob altogether if you want to and still have electric door locks.

I have been very busy and haven't had time to track down any doors. I have had a chance to do some research though. It seems GM changed part numbers on the latches some were in the mid 70's. What was the reason for the change? I don't know for sure, but I have seen some differences in the point where I plan on attaching the rod. I don't know at this point if it makes a difference or not. This is were the doors/latches will be needed to be checked and verified.
Thanks for keeping me in line and focused.

If you are close to Denton, TX there is a junk yard called CTC Auto Ranch that may have some old beat up doors. If you let them, they will walk all over you with price. I can usually walk out of there at half of their original asking price.

I know the place well. I talked to them about several donor parts and have even bought some from them. They do have alot of cars there. They are a little on the pricey side, but if you need it, you need it.
