      Updating Daisy!

The 69 Firebird aka Daisy was needing some modern day upgrades.
This will be the thread to show those updates as I make progress and things I found during.

The front suspension and brakes were removed; I did the Guldstand Mod and added the front tubelar A-arms:
      Original:
      NEW:
I have a Vintage Air system going into the car plus a Covan's Dash with Autometer Gauges so the stock dash had to come apart:
In doing this I pulled out the old stock AM radio and single speaker:
When pulling out the defrost vents I found some treasures "yeah right!":

That's the way to do a build. Upgrade and drive the car as soon as your done. You get the satisfaction of the upgrades with very little down time.

It's especially cool that you are sticking with the OE-type Pontiac engine.

She is back on the road with working A/C!
Still have a few things to fine tune the carb, get the blank plate in the dash for the A/C controls, Power top switch installed and install the LED tail-lights with Billet Taillight lens, doe the calibration of the speedo, and figure out what part of the fuel level sender needs replace or repair.
One the of the power top cylinders needs to be replaced, Body bushings and leaf spring bushings need replaced, buy and install subframe connectors.

I was at the Gearheads car show and won a silent Auction Item from ProTexIt coatings.
Well I pulled the Chrome headers that were turning blue of the Firebird and got them done.

Yes another upgrade to the 69 Firebird.
This time I added some Billet Specialities Pedals (these bolt to the stock pedals except the gas is a replacement).
      Here are the original Pedals.

      The New!

A New Aluminum 3 Core Radiator ordered from Driverz Inc. My factory Brass one has a little leak that after a year I finally found.
Once I get it here and some time to install it I will get pictures.
