      4000hp BBC comming soon.......?

As you all know there are several 2500hp Geardriven F3R 139 Procharged engines out there. There are also several 2500+hp twin F2 geardriven BBC's and BBF's. Someone has just commissioned a pair of gear driven Vortech blowers. They have been offset to allow the volutes to fit the existing twin F2 (10.5" volute) gear drive.

This means it won't be long before someone commissions a pair of F3R 139 (12" volute) blowers. Even though the blowers can support 5500hp we will estimate 4000hp due to other losses and engine limits. The engine would have to be 1400hp minimum N/A hp and lowish compression so I guess we are talking 632ci plus.....

      Here's how it was done.....

      And here's a twin F1C for comparison....

This is an area that is begining to equal many of the larger twin 88mm turbo set ups due to drivability!

Do you think we will ever see 4000hp on gas before the turbo guys get there?

That is insane. WTF would you do with 4000hp? And is there even anyway to confirm that number?

You go really really really fast with 4000hp. 260+ traps anyone? Boy oh boy would be an entertaining sight seeing small tire cars trying to hook up that much power.

Should be interesting to see if they will be able to be competitive with the turbo cars now

Well you're right. Tim is at 3500hp and 6.53 1/4's but Mike Modeste is at 6.97 with twin F2's. So I'm pretty sure the additional 1000+ horses available from twin F3's/V-24 XX's should get some Procharged or Vorteched racer in the 6.50's.
