I'm so jealous of everyone else's set up. I'm struggling with my one car garage. Hopefully moving soon to a place with more room so I have room for my Mustang too.

Every time I look at these garages (and the ones on Garage Journal), I wonder: "Where do they keep all the extra parts and stuff?" I mean seriously, where do you keep your 3 spare motors, 7 sets of wheels/tires, 2 full interiors, 2 extra pairs of seats, 3 spare fenders and 2 hoods, extra sets of intakes, carbs, headers, cams, ECUs, throttlebodies, exhaust & turbo piping, coolant hoses and turbo couplers, etc., etc., etc.? Seriously.

Floor-to-ceiling industrial shelving. There is a place here in Houston that specializes in selling used shelving acquired from various companies. The shelves I bought came from a Home Depot, they still had the item price stickers on them. LOL. That entire back wall of shelves only cost me about $600.

That's essentially what I'm doing right now with one side of my garage, except that I'm using the cheap-o 12" or 18" deep metal shelving. And since I only have 8.5 foot ceilings, and the wall has 2 windows and the fuse box and sprinkler controls, I won't get quite the storage you have. Still, I think once it's all sorted, organized, and compartmentalized, it should hold most of what I have (right now). Here's the floor plan I'm working towards (made in photohsop):

Thanks ! I need to update the picture because I put my collection of Harley Davidson bicycles next to the pool table. There is a 54 inch LCD in the shop also so we can watch sports or Speed vision. Blew the speaker out of the shop TV watching NASCAR last year, so need to fix that problem soon.
