      New Guy from Baytown, Texas......

Been lurking for a while, great site. Have a 66 Nova LS conversion, on the road for about a year now. Car is not what some might call Pro Touring, I really don't know what you would call it, doesn't matter to me. I just know it was a labor of love and quite taxing at times, but I got it done. It's not a high end show car, never run at any track, Autocross or 1/4 mile, but it gets driven everytime I get a chance, which is quite often.

Just completed the 2010 Hot Rod Power Tour with my car, and averaged about 23 MPG over 2200 miles. I just cannot say enough about the LSx platform, and the myriad of possibilities with these engines.

Her are a few photos of the build, and finished product..

      T,

Welcome to the site Tom. Always loved the 66-67 Nova's. The LS engine combination makes it an even better ride. Nice!

Love the Chevy 2"s! My first car was a '66 Nova and I still have a lot of passion for them. I went to Mecum in Houston last year and thought I may come away with one but ended up with another car that I always liked, a '55 Chevy. It's not where I want it but it will have to wait until I am done with my '66 Mustang. I live in Spring so maybe I will see you on the road sometime.
