Mcgaughys disc brake kit problems C10

I recently completed install of a Mcgaughys disk brake kit on our 67 chevy C10 shop truck.12 in rotors & calipres are 73-87 GM & we used their stock height spindles because we use this as a truck. We had to grind 1/4 in. off the upper controll arm to clear their spindle. Now the brake lines comming from the calipres lay up against the spindle.Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem? :bsjerk:

Tough to say without pictures, but in the least, I would say that you need to re-route the caliper hoses and/or replace them if the lengths are not going to work with your installation.

covers an install of theirs... from the posts ive read... they need mods to make them work even though they are sold under the correct application.. terrible in my opinion. I dont think it answers your quesiton, but I do remember them saying that you have to relocate the brake line from the "front of the spindle" to the rear of the spindle. Not sure about bending the lines, but its probally required.
      post up some pictures.
