Anyone got shots of the charger carnage? Feel free to post if you do, this is reality, things go wrong sometimes. BTW, we got home just fine with it. 1515 total miles, some more abusive than others..haha The only real issue was the wiper motor decided to stop, and with the storm we encountered in Indy, that was not a good thing. Thank goodness for Rainx.

Mark was driving at the time. We had a brake knock back issue on the front and no brakes going into a major turn. I was passenger, wild ride but no real damage. Ruined a tire that had debeaded. Got it back together though and no more issues so all is fine. Drove the car home, ordered ZR1 hubs today, should solve any future issues.

ouch, just an fyi - the zr1 (skf) hub extends the service interval, but they still fail. Vette guys are still changing them regularly. Have you run the car a lot with slicks?

I should have the new zr1 hubs tomorrow, thanks to Jeff Tate. I understand that I am stress testing the hubs as they were never designed to haul the boat I call a charger and its weight. I have not been on slicks but have had toyo888 at OUSCI last year and KDWs on it for over 6000 miles, both highway and track.

Well , the Charger will definitely stress test them ..

Damn, glad it was nothing bigger, no brakes in some 'major' corners could get real ugly!
