Black hose clamps

Anybody know where to get black hose clamps?



Not looking for the ones from gates

Just regular hose clamps but in black

their used to be a brand called "mini muscle" hose clamps. as I remember they were black and better that average hose clamps.
I think they were available from summit racing.

Spray paint??

These are fairly popular with the Harley enthusiasts. I would check with some of the Harley supply shops.

I wouldn't recommend the spray paint as it probably won't hold up well. If you go this route, I would recommend a blackening solution from someone like Eastwood (like here). Just remember to soak the clamps in acid first to remove the zinc finish (Diluted Muriatic acid works well for this aka Pool acid)

On Jackass we put black heat shrink tubing on the hose clamps and it looks great.

those work great. Not to step on your reply, but McMaster Carr has the same Gates clamps for about half as much as Jegs, at least in the 1 3/4"-2" size......... Jegs is $6.90 each, McMaster Carr is $3.90 each.
