My name is tim i have been looking for a forum that goes with how i intend to build my car so here i am . My car started life as a 1966 el camino it belonged to my fiance,s uncle . He owned the car since 1979 i got it about 6 months ago he loved the car and heavily modified it . It has 1966 gto front end , doors skins , dash, bumpers front and rear 389 and muncie 4 speed with a 12 bolt 4.88 gears he found a 1966 gto that had rear end damage and built the car with it .The car basically looks like pontiac built it . The work he had done over 30 years is amazing . My goal with the car is corvette front suspension , irs corvette c4 rear suspension a 6.0 vortec and 4l60e . I have built many cars done subframes on 3 chevy trucks . I know this is a lofty goal . I also have been a GM tech for the last 10 year,s so if any one needs GM assistance wiring diagrams or information from GM technical asssistance i will do my best to help .
