Here is my recent install of a 140 pump. Got the pump from private seller new on eBay, so I'm not sure how old it is. No flat surface on inlet or outlet side for an O-Ring.
Used 3/8 NPT from hardware store for inlet, and 3/8 NPT to -8 for outlet.
