      Hello

Hi all. My name is Jason, I'm 20 years old and live in pennsylvannia USA. I have a 1987 Trans Am WS6 as my daily driver. I'm dropping a 350 with a holley SR intake, MSD distributor, Milodon hiflow water pump & 160* thermostat, and Comp Cams chromemoly pushrods. I also have a 1979 Pontiac Firebird that was my first car I bought when i was 16. It hasnt gotten much attention, but after i do these few mods to my 87 I am going full bore with the 79. I wanna paint it a pearl white and get the blue decal kit. A short list of what I'm doing is as follows: I wanna make a pro touring stlye car, but that i can still drive on the street. I'm building a poncho 400 with a forged bottom end, comp cams flat tappet cam, chromemoly pushrods, alum roller rockers, valvesprings, timing chain and so on. I'm going with KRE 85cc heads(that i just saw featured in high performance pontiac) with 2.11 int and 1.77 exh valves. I'm going with a moroso 8 qt oil pan, edelbrock performer rpm intake manifold and a 850 cfm barry grant speed deamon carb. I'm looking at suspension stuff right now. I'm thinking of dropping a LS1 6 speed, or maybe a 3rd gen 5 speed, but i might end up just staying auto and putting in a 4L60E.. I guess thats enough info for now, im sure ill get and be able to give some good info on this board. If you curious how obsessed i am about T/A's I have the 2nd gen bird tattoed in blue on my right shoulder.

Welcome to the site, Jason. Sounds like a good project you've got there with the '79, and a nice DD on the '87. Post up some pics of the cars if you get a chance. We always love to see pics .
