      Wilwood

I'm running Wilwood on all 4 corners:
      Front - WIL-140-5770-BD
      Rear - 140-5237-BD

Running C-Clip eliminators so couldn't go with the OEM (Parking brake in the hat)

Had originally purchased Baer, but had too many problems in the rear getting the caliper clocked properly with enough clearance for the parking brake.

Had talked to the people at SSBC, but found them rude and unhelpful.

C6 Z06 Fronts and for now, undecided on the rears but limited since it's a C4 suspension.

Correct. 17" American CL205. Same spoke pattern as TTII with powdercoated spokes. C5 rotors won't fit this wheel w/o a spacer.

C5/C6 from Kore3. Mostly because the brakes were cheap enough compared to Baers or Wilwoods to pay for most of my ATS AFX spindles. Ironically I had TTII's and had to buy another set of wheels to clear the 'Vette brakes which cost more than what I saved.
      Ahh, the joys of modifying.

12" 1LE rotors up front with Wilwood calipers and 11.6" S10/Blazer rear disc w/ internal ebrake. Perfect for 15" wheels.

Baer Sport front & rear (12" Rotors F&R) w/ Willwood manual (7/8") Master Cylinder. Bought when I started project 10 years ago (Stuff happens & projects have to wait) to clear 16" wheels I was using then.

On my 95 TA it is 14" Wilwood BSL6 (Front)/14" Wilwood BSL4 (Rear) with integral Parking Brake.

On my 69 Camaro it is a custom 15" kit using Coleman Machine rotors, custom hats, Wilwood TC6 calipers on all 4 corners and Mr. Parker external E-Brake caliper.

Baer Track 13" front and 12" rear. Choosen to enable me to bolt them on with no major issues as I'm not a 2nd Gen brake expert. I wish I had gone with the extreme 6 pots but may be they wouldn't have cleared 17" wheels. They transformed the car...

Man those are some big stoppers.

I leaning to the c5/c6 set up but am having a hard time choosing. C5Z06 with Z51 disks? Stock C5 or C6? or go nuts with a C6 Z06 set up

You can't go wrong with any of those, it just depends on what you want to do and how much you have to spend. Performance-wise, the base level C5/C6 brakes are an excellent bang-for-the-buck and are capable of meeting or exceeding most people's braking needs. That said, a little extra rotor like the Z51 option can have certain advantages, both with respect to performance and looks. The Z06's are bigger still and give you a massive caliper for that blinging big-brake appeal, but while they're quite affordable for what they are, they'll still require a much thicker center wheel for caliper clearance than any of the floating caliper options.

I'll be the budget anchor man! I have 12" C4 fronts using a 13/16" manual mc and drum rears. Works well for my current street useage.

Wilwood SL6's on 13" rotors front
Wilwood FDL on 12" rotors rears

      ABS Electric Power Brake System

Found that power assist is a very good thing above 3500lbs.

      Looking for more performance now.

I'm currently running ($1400)Baer Track one piece rotor 13", 2 pot Zinc washed, drilled, slotted, grooved up front with Baer Iron sport 11.625" Zinc washed, drilled, slotted, grooved in the rear. I have 17 x8 and 17 x11 wheels.

Possibly looking to improve braking as I have just added an additional Procharger blower. Will upgrading to ($2200) Baer Pro-Plus Systems 13" drilled, slotted & zinc washed 2 piece rotors with Baer 6P staggered bore 6 piston callipers give me an appreciable decrease in stopping distances with Toyo R888 255/17/40's.

Or will it just allow more time before brake fade????

Using the NEW wilwood D-52 Calipers up front and "Chevy" 1979 Cadillac rear Calipers, Hawk pads up front and GM organics in the rear, standard 11 booster, SSBC brass (disc/disc) proportioning valve, OEM replacement lines from Inline Tube, and Teflon stainless steel braided soft lines(front/rear), rotors from Liz Miles old 68 camaro and her old master cylinder, that's it
