Road Trip-Oxnard to Buffalo

Hey Guys,
I was talking to Albert(Crazy Canadian) last week and was asked if I was interested in a road trip from Oxnard,Califonia to Buffalo,New York. I said Hell Yeah!! As I was confirming flight plans last night Albert and I decided that I should have a daily log of pics,text and video from my trip across the U.S.A. So here is the first post. Im in Denver Air Port waiting on my next flight to LAX,then Ill fly into Oxnard around 5:00 p.m. California time. I have no cool pics yet but hope to be posting some tomarrow night after I put some miles behind me.

Yep, just a quick jump across the boarder for me and then the 73TA will receive a new 461 stroker motor, Carbon Hood and Shaker
and some new seats (if they get re-done in time)....


We're looking to have the car all setup for the Mid-West Muscle Car Challenge.... The new engine should hump out about 600 ponies on pump gas and Chris (JCG) did a great job on the rest of the suspension and brakes while the car was in his care over the last few months....

Fact of the matter is that I wanted to go with Greg and join him in the drive from the west , but I have to stay here and get all the necessary parts finished off and build the motor prior to his arrival early next week ;-(...... It'll be fun though to see him in Buffalo and look forward to the drive home and back down to the mid-west in the next few weeks...

The drive from the coast to buffalo, then Toronto and back to Indiana for the Mid-West represents 3,355 s/miles of fun LOL

just got to the hotel. Bill has me hooked on La Qinta inn's now. Man these beds are soft.

Chris picked me up from the Air Port and I spent a few hours hanging out in his shop. He builds some nice stuff!!!

Ill be heading to Costa Mesa tomarrow with Chris. Looking forward to seeing a California car show.

Bill,Im hoping to become a member of the Rat Pack. This ought to be a good start!

I have been meaning to get these pics off my laptop and on to the desktop.

I made it to Ohio in under 2 days. Had a great lunch with Albert, Brian(spell),and my local friend Eric at my favorite German Brew house.

Brian, Yeah it was beautiful. You couldnt ask for any better weather to drive in! Im back home now. Im leaving for Detriot in a few hours to get my PASS card then on into Canada to meet up with Albert.
