      New guy from Kentucky.

      How's it going guys. My name is Steve Stewart and I'm from the most northern part of Ky. So close to Ohio I can see the Cincy skyline from my back window. Someone posted the link to the site on our car club forum so I thought I'd check it out. I am truly amazed at this site and what you guys do. Very cool. I am in the middle of my 1980 'Bird project right now. I have owned the car for 23 years. For the last 5 or 6 it was set up to run 1/4 mile. Missing the open road I have been slowing taking the straight line stuff off and putting it back where I can run down the highway once again. Last week I ditched the 456 rearend and swapped in a set of 342's. I know that is still steep to some of you guys but maybe a 5 speed or an overdrive auto trans will go in later. It was nice to be able to drive the car out on the highway again. This site will surely get me in the right direction.

      1970 RS/SS350 139K on the clock:
      89 TPI motor w/ 1pc rear seal coupled to a Viper T56 via Mcleod's modular bellhousing w/ hydraulic T/O bearing from the Viper, 12 bolt rear w/ 3.73 gearing, SC&C upper control arms, factory lowers with Delalums, C5 brakes at all four corners, Front Wheels 17x8's with Sumi 255/40/17 and Rear Wheels 17x9's with Sumi 275/40/17.
