      FYI
The Duel at De Anza Autocross is this Sunday @ De Anza College in Cupertino.

Probably the most fun to watch auto-x in the country

I'll be doing my best not to kill any cones. I bet it's been almost 20 years since I last ran it, oh well.

Nah - I didn't get an invite this year...
A few years back I decided I wasn't gonna run the Duel anymore. It was when it was still "open enrollment" I was the forth person in line in the morning (got there at 5am).
The people working the event let so many of their buddies cut in line that I didn't run until 2pm, in the rain.
Decided that it wasn't worth it.

things are different there now that it's invite only, but I'd rather just watch

      Hey Brett,

You can still get in but it's knowing when the entry forms go out so you can quickly get it back to the Hale's. I think the event's filled in less than two weeks ... go figure.

I'm like you as that particular event isn't that appealing to me. The course is tight and I also waited around all day for my 50 seconds of fury.

      Cheers,
