Trailblazer ss rear disc, worth effort?

Hey, I got the rear diff out of an 06 TBSS complete.
My question is, is it worth the effort to keep these for a conversion down the road? The car is a 79 T/A with factory rear disc.
      thanks

Why not swap the whole rear in? It's a 14 bolt.

I have one as well. If only the trans could handle what the rear can.

Thanks for the input guys, do you think it's worth the effort to switch diffs? I will messure them today but the stock 8.5 10 bolt is pretty strong aswell.

No. It will only make the car weigh more.
