Drove the car to work today!

Took the Nova to work in Downtown Chicago. About a 60 mile trip one way. The car performed flawlessly on got to to 190*. The engine was running about 3000 rpm at 60 mph. ( waiting on the 4l80e) The only casualty I had was the cover on the top of the Rad came loose. Brakes worked good. The ridetech susp. handled the Indiana toll roads just fine. Sky way was a blast! Came home I fueled up picked up my son TJ and off to a cruise night at Whites Pit Stop. What a day, enjoyed every minute of the time in the car and with my Co pilot TJ.

I read your post too fast Tim and thought your were doing 190 M.P.H. in the Nova.........(!!!!!)........then re-read and realized you meant the motor temperature........

Your Nova is one my favorites here on PT........really cool car......wheels are awesome...

Glad you could enjoy some quality time with your "Co-Pilot".......good to hear!

(P.S. - I had a close friend, very crazy guy, did lots of silly stuff......used to drive his tomato red Miata year round (yes snow) with the top down and a tomato red moto-cross helmet on with no visor......I am laughing just picturing him!!!)
