Motorcycle Carbs

I know this is a little off the beaten path for PT, but hear me out please.

I am building a PT style Datsun 240Z with a 2.8L engine. The motor is starting off with a Holley 390cfm carb....

I am looking for something a little different and have heard of running motorcycle carbs on these engines.... I am curious if anyone has experiance with these type of setups or can point me to some web sites that cover it...

I was thinking along the lines of running dual 45mm Harley type carbs on stock type dual SU manifold....

I have posted this question on HybridZ also.. They have mentioned these type of setups being used but not luck yet on pointers/ research...

Some of the honda guys use throttle bodies from sport bikes, can't see why this would be any different.
