      Racing brake pad suggestions

I need some help finding the right race/track day pad combo for my 67 Camaro. Brakes are baer 6s w/14" rotors up front, baer track in rear (finned 88-96 corvette calipers). I use Hawk blue on my Spec Miata race car, and I have PFC 97 on a modded 911 (I'm a pca DE instructor). I like the bite of the Hawk blues, but I don't want the nasty corrosive dust that they produce. Hawk HP+ is not enough pad. I like the PFC 97's (low dust, rotor friendly), but I don't want to spend that kind of money if there's a similar pad out there that will do the job for less. I need a pad that will stand up to the abuse, deliver long life and is easy on the rotors. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, give me the model numbers and a good place to buy if you can help. Thanks!

I'd suggest giving Carbotech a call. Not cheap, but very good stuff that seems to justify the price in most applications. I've been impressed by a few different installations.

Ordered a set from Carbotech. Looking forward to trying them out at MidOhio in a few weeks. Thanks!
