New- NEED HELP with LS1 T56 6 speed to 350/2piece rear main seal

I am new to pro-touring so i understand that this question has probably been asked about 1 million times. However, if someone can point me in the general direction i would appreciate it. I am building a 67 camaro. I need to find a kit that will include all clutch, master cylinder, bellhousing etc to bolt a 6 speed to a 350/2piece rear main seal. i have my cross-member, just need the clutch kit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks,

I believe with the LS1 tranny you need to change the input shaft to make it work with a standard small block Chevy. Not 100% sure though, if you go the other route & use the LT1 version T56 & put it on an LS motor, you do have to change the input shaft.

Quik Time makes a bellhousing that will work with your LS T-56 without changing the input shaft. Centerforce and others make the flywheel. For hydraulics, you can go with modifed stock (4th gen F-body) or any number of aftermarket kits.

RM-6023 by Quiktime will get him what he is after. If you use their bellhousing, the stock LS1 t56 will mount straight up to an old style chevy block. You need LS1 throwout bearing, LS1 hyrdaulics, and a standard (old SBC style clutch setup) to get the rest of it installed and working.

I would step up and buy the SpeedTech performance (ATS) crossmember as it will make the installation go much more smoothly because of its easy adjustability.
