New Member with a 66 Mustang

Hey all! New to the board here. I have two pro-touring cars: a 1966 Mustang with a RRS strut front suspension, power rack conversion, 12x1.25 front rotors, subframe connectors, 1 inch sway bar and new rear leafs. American Racing wheels with knock offs, 16x7 and 16x8. Mild 302 and an auto trans with a shift kit. Great touring car and I drive it all over. I have taken it on four "Iron Bottom" runs - 1000 miles in 3 days through central California. The car still had the original paint and has been in the family since it was new.

The second is a 1967 Porsche 911S that had had the suspension, engine and transmission heavily modified. Most of these modifications were done long before any kits were available. It was time-trialed extensively in the early 70s at Riverside Raceway, Ontario Motor Speedway, Willow Springs, Laguna Seca, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Seattle.

The car has evolved over the years and currently has a 2.8L 300hp fuel injected flat 6 Porsche engine with a custom short geared trans-axle. At about 2200 lbs it is a fun car to drive!

I like the mustang. It must be fun to roll the windows down and cruise in the sun for three days and 1000 miles.

Very nice. Do you know the offset of the AR rims on your mustang? Would 16x8's not fit on the front also?

Welcome. Both look like great cars, but I have to say I'm especially digging the Porsche... Fuchs FTW!

      Nice cars, welcome aboard.
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting - Holy cow - what a ride!!!
