Do I use windage tray with Champ pan

I bought a champ pan for my LS1 going into a 68 Camaro, and the pan has a windage tray built in, do I need to run the original windage tray on the engine? I don't currently have one as I sold it with the original oil pan and wanted to know if I needed to get another one or just run it without it.
      Thanks,
      Nicolas

If the Champ pan was bought specific for your application you shouldn't have any problems, although I am an old school pre '87 small block guy so my opinion would not be one from experience with your application.

When in doubt, call the manufacturer if you can not find a hard answer eslewhere. I have not used one so not sure.
