      Or could it be higher up since it sounds like your pan seal was re-done... crank seal, one of the 3 plugs at the back of the cam, rear of the intake, etc?

      I had a pan leak turn out to be a weld-in bung for the oil heater. It doesn't take much to make a huge mess.

      Hang in there Cos. I understand why you are not happy -and justifiably so- but look at the big picture as well. It sounds like the motor runs really strong and that is the most important thing. I agree with Dan that it could be a bunch of little things that are making up the oil spot now that you fixed the pan gasket. BTW almost all 2 pc main SBC seals leak some, and this is the reason they went to the 1 pc type. Go to Buttonwillow and have a great time. Those little Alfa's are going to say what the hell was that as you motor by them at warp speed on the track. I can't wait to see the video!!!
