You aren't supporting optima; you'd be supporting James Shipka, and David Pozzi in a car they built without cash from sponsors. They worked hard to make a vehicle worthy of competition and they could use the support to make it through the race.

Keep the politics out of this please.

I'm not going to get into a pissing match with you about this. Vote with your wallet then and buy another battery, but for the love of god GTFO of this thread with that noise.

This car is ground breaking, was built with blood sweat and tears by an individual (not a company) and needs our community's support to ensure a finish. If you are so upset with China based manufacturing get rid of 80% of the items in your home, on your car, and on your body. I hear your point, don't agree with it, and would appreciate it very much if you let the people who want to help in a positive manner do so.

Ok, the best thing you can do is say that you can't/won't support the cause and that is all. The only thing optima has to do with it is sponsorship of the car. You choose to not support a fellow member here and that's fine. You are inserting personal politics and that will not be accepted. Your ice is now getting thin.

Already sent a email with my info. You'll be driving within a couple miles of my place on your way back to South Bend from Nelson Ledges on Friday May 7th. I should be able to get access to a lift at a buddy's shop (also a pro-touring.com member) a mile down the road. Also my shop is available if you need to do any work on the car. Could point you to a couple good places to eat along with getting you a tank of gas on your way through.

We picked up the shirts on Friday and got a few of them out earlier this week. We hope to have more of them shipping out on Monday once we get back from the Goodguys show in Del Mar. If you want, PM me and I'll hold on to yours (assuming it hasn't shipped) until you get back.
