      drag race 66 Chevelle

This car is built more for straightline fun but we might try to get it to Topeka this year for Pinks all out. Anybody care to guess at the time it will run in the 1/4? It's a 400 block, 4" Callies crank, Brodix 11X heads, Victor Jr. intake, solid roller Lunati cam with .744/.765 lift, Holley 850DP, Mallory Nitrous 6 ignition, Titan 750-shot plate system single stage, 2 and 1/4 equal length Stahl headers, 3" dual exhaust w/x-pipe, Spintech mufflers, 3.55 12-bolt Moser rear, etc. It has a TH400 w/brake, 3600-3800 converter, full stock interior, glass hood. I put this car together so I thought taking it to Topeka would be fun...what do ya'll think?

Are you driving it to Topeka? I'm wondering were the "touring" part is?

It might keep up with my stock ls1 powered 65 cutlass with column shifter but I doubt it.

I'm sorry to say that we have lost Rocky.

I would have to guess in the high 11s without the bottle. My 67 Chevelle with a 509/turbo 400 combo runs 11.6s at this elevation, but it is a very mild engine setup, with 3200rpm stall converter, 4.56 gears and alot of chassis tuning.
