      EZ wire harnesses?

Does anyone have experience with these harnesses?
The price is right, and the feedback I have seen has been positive.
      Thanks, Steve

I have one sitting here and I think Im going to buy a American Autowire one instead. Wires are huge and bulky, and they might as well not send any instructions because the ones they due are hand drawn by a fourth grader.

Ill sell it for $100 if your interested in trying it.

I used one to rewire my '69 Vette. To be honest, a friend did it. He had never totally rewired a car, but said it was a sinch. Said he loved it. Worked very well for me too. Never had a problem after being installed. From what I've seen, there are much more robust systems available today, but for the money, I don't think that EZ can't be beat.

Great for the money. All the wires are marked but it is not the best setup for your first try at wiring. You can do it but will take some time and a couple of calls to the tech center because the instructions are not the best. If you want a plug and play system the american autowire cannot be beat, it just costs more.

I wired my car with it. Intimidating when you open the box but once you get it all sorted out as to what goes where, it is not bad. Do yourself a favor and test each circut as you finish it as it will give you small accomplishments along the long journey to complete the job. You will become a professional at soldering as the wires are unterminated. You are going to have to think about what that means. For every bulb, switch, gauge, indicator light, fan or sensor you have in your car will represent at least two splices. I did a ton of custom work on mine like remote voltage sensing, dual fans, headlight relays etc so it was a decent base to start from. I did not have a problem with the instructions. My issue was that I would have liked a factory type bulkhead connection so the harness could be seperated into a front half and a back half like Painless' muscle car harnes. Otherwise you will need to cut a 1" hole somewhere to run all of the front wires through.

Buy the one above for $100.

      They're a fine harness.

The directions aren't fancy, but all the info is there.
