      Dynamat Door Installation Questions.

I have decided to install Dynamat inside my doors while I have the panels off for my interior project. I am looking at the 0.250 Dynaliner, which is strictly for sound deadening, not heat. Part number is 11101. This is 1/4" thick. Has ayone used this in their car, and do you think it may be overkill? Thre is a 0.125 version that is a little cheaper. Thanks.

When it comes to sound deadening I don't think there is such a thing as overkill!

I used the dynamat extreme on the doors, floors, and roof of my second gen. Love the results.

Quick question, I used a bunch of dynamat extreme on the floor of my sonoma but I haven't done the doors just yet. What is the best way to do the doors? I have seen people put it on the outer panel of the door which would be a pain and I have seen it on the inside of the door. I am thinking of just putting it on the inside of the door but wonder should I cover up some of the big holes in the door with it or do you cut those pieces out?
I would think it would help a lot if I didn't cut it out around the holes but looking to see what other people have done.

I know one thing, this stuff works great, my sonoma wasn't very loud to begin with but its super quiet now and the only way I hear any noise is through the doors. For some reason the truck just seems like it drives better too, almost like its stiffer.

I defiantly would recommend to anyone to install dynamat, it sucked to install but it was defiantly worth the hard work!!!
