bucket seat conversion

well i want to convert my 68 nova to bucket seats. there are some brackets from classic industries(PN 14633). I cant really see from the pictures but it looks like a floating nutplate that is welded to the structure under the floorpan. i've also found a conversion kit on SS396.com this appears to be a more viable option.

but i'm a little hesitant... i could fab up my own brackets... but i'd like to hear from some more experienced folks. i'll probably end up going with some procar rally seats. they got that sweet vintage look to them.
