Organizing a Winter Chicago Gathering.......

I started a thread in the Midwestern States Regional Forum https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=51708d , but it's so far down the Forum Home page that unless you have subscribed to the thread you'd never see it. SO in an effort to get this out to a larger viewing, I thought I'd post here......as the plan is to organize an actual EVENT.

It seemed a cool idea to rally everyone in the Chicago/Northern Illinois, Indiana/Southern Wisconsin area for an organized meeting of members on this site or anywhere else as well. Could be great to share a couple beverages, have a bite to eat, and talk about our winter projects..... a little bench racing.... and general BS'ing. We could then try to go further into the year, once the Chicago winter dies out and have some organized cruise-ins with our cars, because after all.......that's what this is all about, comaraderie and cars, meeting new freinds, share ideas, and maybe help someone out with their project or build.

The next step, in addition to seeking more interest, is to decide on a somewhat GENERAL place to meet, convenient to everyone's location......and a date convenient to everyone's busy social calender.
