      Anybody Using Edelbrock Shocks??

Anybody have experience with Edelbrock shocks? I need new shocks for the old Suburban and was looking to try them out. Waste of money? Better and why than say a KYB or ? Thanks just don't want to waste money on a tow vehicle if it won't make a difference.

the IAS shocks are WAY better than KYB.
Probably the best all around shocks (for street cars) on the market today.
Nice firm ride without beating your teeth out on rough roads

Agreed. I'm running them on my Chevelle; a very good compromise shock. Very smooth ride and predictable in the turns, although they aren't as good at the limit as say QA1's, Koni's, etc.

I also threw a set on Mom's 1993 Bravada, and they were a HUGE improvement over the much more expensive factory Bilsteins.

We have 90K on our "01" Tahoe so I thought I would change them out.
Installed the IAS and found them to be a little more stiff than stock but I should have left the stock pieces in as they were still good. Not worth the money unless yours are shot or leaking.

      Good Luck

I have Edelbrock shocks at all four corners on my nova. Ialso have the complete hotchkis front suspension and rear leaf springs. I personally think it is great. Before I had all stock 72 nova parts. This was a great upgrade for me. There is hardly any body roll. I am also new to this so I have never experienced a high dollar or aftermarket suspension setup. But for weekend driving and all around better feel, I highly recommend it.
