What holes needed for firewall planning?

I am finally starting to see some real progress on my project (back on the ground!! I intentionally waited on the firewall until the floors were done and the sub was attached.

I know that the following is necessary:
      A/C & heater lines
      Steering Column
      Brake booster or MC mounts
      Wiper motor
If I run an LS2 or newer engine, can I fill in the gas pedal mount point since it is drive by wire?

Anything I am not thinking of?

I plan on smoothing the firewall, but before I start on this, I want to get all of the accessories roughed in so I know where I need holes and where I can plug them.

I don't know that it matters, but it is a 67 Camaro.

      Thanks!

You can relocate the wipers to under the drives side fender.
Im also putting the A/C lines and harness inside the passengers fender.

Almost all the holes you will need in the firewal should be put in at the time you install or mock up those pieces. It is very difficult to presume where they will go until you have all of your components and even then things may change.

Most items will have grommets or bases that will cover any cutting or drilling holes on the edges so you relly don't have to absolutely have them done before painting. Most of my holes were put in at the time of the wiring going in. Mocking up everything before is nice to do and then taking it all back out, but if you are trying to move faster it sometimes is not something you will like to do.

There are threads that have pics of a lot of firewalls to get an idea of what you may want to do. Check out as many as you can by doing a search for you component and the word firewall.

You can also move the wiper motor to the glovebox area and that info is in several spots including the fabrication, electrical and interior sections.

good luck trying to decide what to do as there are a lot of firewalls to use as examples.
