      New to the site.

Hello! I'm Ross and I got my hands on a 1967 Chevy El Camino last year. I came across this site and registered as I'm interested in high performance that isn't defined as only straight line speed. Looking at some of the rides and modifications on this site, my plans for the Elco are decidedly mild, but I'm definitely interested in better performing suspension and ride quality.

I have a small number of photos here (my flickr album), and as you can see I'm a long way off. I've always been interested in cars, but I haven't spent all that much time turning wrenches. Hopefully pro-touring.com will help me out in setting and achieving some of my goals for the El Camino.

I'm in Arlington, VA, right outside our nation's capital (and inside the dreaded beltway), and I'm definitely interested in any meetups, car shows, club events, or crusing in the DC area. Drop me a private message or an email if you want to get in touch.

      Thanks!

I'm redoing a 67 El Camino too. Good luck on your project.

      Welcome aboard!

Small world, I work in Arlington but live in Leesburg. If you want to get out of the city on occasion, come out my way.

We have a nice little cruise at the Dulles Town Center Chick-Fil-a on Friday nights when the weather warms up.

      Nice Elky too, btw!

Herb - I saw your sig in another post and checked out your El C photo album. That is a seriously bad ass El Camino.

I'd definitely like to get together some time. I'm definitely just starting out in the car world, and most of my pals who work on cars tend to work on tuners, not muscle. I'll get back in touch once the weather warms up a bit.
