Thanks Rod. I took your advice and since Im only 25 minutes away from Guldstrand I just went by and picked up the template. Hopefully ill have the front ridetech setup together tonight. I can only hope for the results you are experiencing. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing your build with all of us.

yes I do expect to get a little one some time... I'm unsure on how to stop it....I thought about using a small piece of dynaMat cut to fit on that back side of the fender to stop it....unless anyone else has an Idea?

I thought about spraying the exposed area with a thick coat of bed liner.

yep! that's a good one and I was working on Suzy's Rambler today and they don't have inner fenderwells and a whole bunch of undercoating in the fenders!

I've had mine trimmed with no liner since 1999 to fit my wheel tire combo and low stance and never had an issue. I like the lineX or body undercoat idea though. Rod, I did the G-mod with the full ridetech front setup and all fits great and cycles without bind. Thanks for the testing and suggestions. Now to get it back on the auto-x and tune. I was going to shoot for 6* of caster and -1* on camber and 1/16 toe to start. What do you think?

yes! with the guldstrand done you will actually have more than 6* of caster(works great), 1. to 1.5* on camber

thanks everyone!! the funny thing about pictures is that the car is so pedestrian looking, I cannot covey how "Pissed Off" Plain Jane sounds and feels when you step on the loud pedal

      edelbrock trick

heres a simple trick to help your edelbrock Carb keep from stumbling around turns on the autocross or even if you use an eddy offroading, not everyone has this problem, I had it one time on an eddy a few years back and I blocked the channel and never had the problem again and now this is one of the tricks I do to every eddy I work on for friends, I have been asked many times about the little things I do to my car to race, so I thought I would leak a simple trick

pop the top on your carb and in the back is a balance channel

its simple you just need piece of 3/16 fuel hose

cut it to the length that sits in the channel

      press it in the channel

      simple fix right

and now the fuel stays in the bowls better and doesn't slosh around and there still a small opening if one bowl over flows and needs balance
