      76 c10

76 c10, c4 front clip, 9 inch 4 link rear. Plan is to run a 18x12 up front and a 20x18.5 in the rear. ANyone run the MT street radials? It was the only manufacture that sold the staggered stance tires. Tried to order some billet specialty dagars but they arent taking orders for a month.

Who makes that front crossmember? With tha big of a step notch,Im guessing you are Bagging it? Are you planning on laying frame? With coilovers I wouldnt see needing that much notch? Nice fab work either way!!

Is this a drag truck since it's got 18.5 tires out back? That's huge! Sounds like a cool project so far.

its a little of everything. He wants the foose look but able to make turns and hual ass in a straight line. its going to see several different race surfaces. the front crossmember is from flat out in southern california. Its a kit for a mid 50s chevy but we made it work. The frame rails is going to be 4.5 inches off the ground at ride height. We are gonna tunnel the exhaust through the outside of the frame so ground clearance shouldnt be an issue. hes already reflooring the bed so the notch size didnt matter- I could have gone an inch smaller but its at ride hieght on the table and the rear end is at15 inches for a 30 inch tire we are building around. Right now it has 3.5 inches of clearance. like i said the floor wasnt an issue this things just going to have the rocker 5 inches off the ground.

plan is for an aspirated big block in the 750hp range and lookinginto the tci 6 speeds. Anyone have any input?

Here is a thread with tires close to the same size. I know the owner went with intro wheels. Intro had to weld 2 hoops together because it was wider than they were available. I am looking for the sizes and will post them when I find them. I hope it helps.

Looks good. It should sit pretty low.
