      LoFlo Nova - 1969 Nova

      Hello my name is Julian,

I have been around older cars all my life. Since i was 6 i have been going to Pamona Swap meet in Socal with my dad. When i finally go my permit i got to get a car. I chose a 1969 Nova which me and my friends called Flo. Since then my father and i have not put much into the car except a 350 v8 instead of the old 250. We bought a 1968 pro-street camaro which we have been building and have a 1955 chevy truck that my dad has had since he was 13. I am now almost 20 and we have finally started work on Flo getting her as nice for as good of a budget as we can.

Soon i hope i will be doing:
-th350 trans (Dad not so into the manuals... ill get one in there eventully :D)
-New rear end (atm im running in the dead leg one wheel drive)
-front and rear suspension (idk what to go with for a good pricing)
-3inch drop in front and rear
      -interior done
      -four wheel disc
-hopefully a nice wheel/tire set up (not five spoke)

i wil be posting updates as much as i can about the car and i hope you all like what i do with it.

So far the paint has gone from green to off white primer and now silver.

Good lookin start! Who makes those seats you have? As far as suspension goes I'd look into Church Boys Racing. They've got a lot of bolt on upgrades for the stock sub frame on these cars, I don't have any experience with their parts personally but I know a couple guys that run their stuff and are very pleased with it...

its 25mm offset so about 6.2 inches of back spacing.... with a 9.5 rim i got them on but i need maybe a 1/2 inch spacer. but i will try a few different spacers to get what i want

I put BMW rims on my 72 haven't tried spacers yet but probably will need 1/2" as well.

      Front Suspension

so lately we have been more working on a 1968 pro street camaro we have getting ready to sell but i finally got to get some things done with the nova

first i removed my radiator which was for my original straight 6 and put in a 3 row aluminum radiator from Champion Radiators with a shroud and fan

Next we got a day to start my front suspension, removing the old a arms and springs

adding the new a-arms and springs and cleaning the spindles up

Size: 76.4 KB

Then was my favorite part in which we put on the wilwood dynalite brakes that we got from Classic industries

Later this week i will be putting rear discs on which i got out of a 1997 camaro and they should fit on nicely pics to come.
i was afraid that the ride height may rise because my old springs were old and cut from the old owner. The new ones are 2 inch drop Hotchkis srpings.
i will try and get a pic of the car after i put in the rear suspension to show ride height

Can you guys go into a lil more detail on the BMW rims and what year/car as well as how the mounting/bolt pattern matches?

      Thanks

      My 2 cents

BMW is 5x120 metric , so very close to 5x4.75 and it's OK if using round bolts to tighten up
& you can use hub centric rings to avoid vibrations
