HYDROBOOST return with remote reservoir

Hydratech hydroboost unit, late 90's astro van pump with remote reservoir, reservoir off of a 2000's chrysler something mounted above hydroboost unit. The reservoir has 1 supply and 1 return on the bottom. The pump has 1 return. My plan was to come out of the steering box to the return on the pump, and out of the booster to the return on the remote reservoir. After doing some searching I have two concerns.

(1) Feed line too long from reservoir to pump (about two feet)?

(2) return from booster to the bottom of the reservoir (above booster)

Would the gravity fluid in the reservoir cause an issue with the booster return (backfeed) ?

Anyone have any first hand knowledge on these two issues?

I don't see anything wrong with that approach. The Astro has its reservoir up on the firewall.
