I like the sound of that better than the GT40 TT 1200hp car anyday. This car actually vibrated my memory of what a car is supposed to sound like.

I know the engine is factory rated at 620 hp! That's a more conservative SAE test then aftermarket uses.

Is this motor not popular in the protouring segment because of the weight. Isn't it as heavy as an ls9?

I'm not sure it really matters. Build the LSX454, sell off the LS3 to recoup a portion of the cost, install, call it a day! It might even cost less than what the GM option would be. Only remaining downside is the lack of warranty, but if you're building a 700 hp $60k+ Camaro, does it matter?

I'll never understand why enthusiasts on an aftermarket-intensive forum complain that something isn't a certain way from the factory. That's why we're here in the first place.

With the car being super heavy anyways, what's a few more lbs.?
