Hey everybody - my '68 resto!

Hey guys (and gals) I'm new as of around a month ago, have learned a lot in that time! I have pics of the start of my project in my vBgarage under my profile.

It's a '68 roller that I picked up in Charlevoix, MI (am way down at the bottom of the state) last July (2004). At this time I have it completely disassembled down to bare subframe and bare body shell. Currently focusing on the front suframe rebuild. Already have a Wilwood Dynalite alum hub brake kit for the front, Del-a-lum bushings, offset shafts and new ball joints thanks to the forums own Mark Antrim. Will be purchasing a Hotckis 1 1/8" sway bar, springs and shocks along with new steering tie rods and componants. At that time it will get everything blasted and powder coated and go from there.

Overall plan is to paint it silver with a fairly stock intereior except newer buckets and autometer gauges in the dash to replace the originals. Not sure on the motor yet, either a 383 or similar setup or do a LS1.

Welcome to the site Sounds like you have a nice project going on over there. Now when can we expect some pics? I'm glad to see you've learned here. That's what the site is for.
